Address Airtel intercom problems

1) Call hunting implementation for main-gate (20000), side-gate (20001) - Sritharan Jagannathan of F block is following up with this.
2) Party hall - Allot 25300 to the intercom that's installed there. Get a wall mounted instrument installed there.


Hathway Cable TV

Policy already drawn up with them. Podhigai and Hallmark are still not coming in the analog channels. Need to address this.

Hathway Internet

They have currently 3 networks for Raheja. Need to streamline this.
1) Router connection to the basement Separate wire is running for this with an ethernet jack termination.
This is an old model where there is LAN installed within Raheja. This does not offer secure connection and the same bandwidth is shared by many people.
2) Separate cable running with a cable modem connected to it.
This is the current model that Hathway is pushing. This is a dedicated line.
3) Cable modem connected to the same cable as TV - which will act as a splitter.
This model is used for old blocks where cable conduit is not enough to run a wire.

Website committee for the Apex...

Institute a website committee under the Apex. This forms another medium of communication for the residents in addition to the noticeboards in every block.

Things to be done:
1. Kids coaching - to be updated
2. Create a section for New comers
Policies, current rules and regulations, important contacts etc.
3. Rules and regulations for a resident
4. Update the Useful numbers

Wireless broadband - exploration

What if you could watch your kid and check your emails from the park bench...
What if you could surf sitting in the clubhouse reading news on the net...

Wi-fi spots in Raheja for a geek community....

With the older blocks having less conduit space and not much infrastructure with the telephone lines, we need to explore the option of wireless for broadband. This means that we create wi-fi spots within Raheja.

Waste management....

It would be ideal if as a community we can look at waste management, with the garbage segregation done at the apartment level.

We need guidelines drawn up and awareness created among residents for this and also a vendor who will honor this and provide solutions.

We could even get help from an NGO like Maya Organic.

Wire management in the basement....

Need to understand the existing wiring layouts and streamline them. If there is someone who would do wire-management for us as a part of our upkeep, that would be the desirable thing.

Yash Gupta (G block) has volunteered to help in this area.

Scope of the service provider committee...

We need to define what the scope for this committee is. As a part of this identify things that are to be done at a block level and things to be done at the Apex level.

Some points -

The committee shall select, negotiate with vendors, allocate space for them if need be.
